" Galletas d'oli -flavored with ramallet tomato and trempó- made in the shape of a knot and inspired by the knot on the Lucía bag"
Casa Lagomar located in Lanzarote, Spain, which has its own unique history. The house was designed by Jesús Soto. Soto was an architect who worked closely with famed local artist César Manrique in the 1970s and was originally built as a private residence for the island's British businessman, Sam Benady.
The house is carved out of the characteristic volcanic rock formations of Lanzarote, which gives it a unique and striking appearance. The design includes a series of interconnected caves and terraces, with each space offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
In the early 1980s, the property was bought by actor Omar Sharif, who is said to have fallen in love with the house while filming a movie on the island. It didn't last long though, as he soon lost the house to Sam Benady himself at cards. Although an experienced bridge player himself, Omar Sharif was unaware that the British promoter was the reigning European bridge champion. The property went through several different owners over the years.
Today, Casa Lagomar is open to the public as a museum and cultural center, showcasing the unique architecture and design of César Manrique. The property includes a restaurant, bar, and various event spaces, as well as a pool and gardens. The house has also been featured in several movies and TV shows, further adding to its cultural significance.

Nothing goes better on an epic adventure than the styles of La Portegna. Looking and feeling your best on a holiday is just as important as sightseeing and wandering around new places.
Barnacles; Try this unique seafood difficult to find and simply extraordinary with an intense sea flavour. Divers make dangerous expeditions to grab these delicacies from sea rocks but these surprisingly delicious barnacles have a briny oyster-like texture with a sweet taste similar to a lobster making it worth it.
The Casa de Pilatos has around 150 different 1530s azulejo design. One of the largest collections in the world.
Legend has it that Trajan’s ashes were brought to Seville and preserved in Pilate’s House inside a very valuable funeral urn.

Over time you learn to appreciate good leather by holding the leather sample into your hand and releasing it on a table |
Quality is about how something feels and makes us feel...To deliver a beautiful handcrafted product you need to work with great quality leather capable of transmitting a beautiful visual and tactile sensation. Understanding where and how our leather is done, is an important aspect of understanding our effort towards creating amazing quality handcrafted goods.
All of our leather comes from Spain specifically in a small village near Barcelona called Igualada. This town is famous for leather production. We work with a family owned leather tanning company specialized with vegetable tanned leather.
|
We are absolute fans of working with vegetable tanned leather.Vegetable tanned leather is a lush leather that ages gracefully overtime. This leather is processed with natural tannings and then put in slow moving drums which are then soaked with olive oil. It is an ecological friendly process.
It is not easy to spot quality leather. Good cowhide leather should be spotlessly clean with no spots, cuts or holes, this means that the cows have been wandering freely away from barbed wire. The leather tones should reflect depth and uniformity. Good leather tanneries tend to create very interesting colour palettes that project the visual power of leather.

The architecture derives its influence from North Africa (present-day Algeria and Morocco), the Moors' native land
The main concept revolves closed exteriors and open interiors with fresh patios where you can find elements such as water, in fountains and plants to maintain a nice cool temperature. |
Most of the villages are clustered around the Sierra de Grazalema and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges and the Las Alpujarras foothills. Some of the villages are close to each other and can be easily combined on a driving day trip.
Our favorite white villages are; Tarifa, Vejer de la frontera, Sierra de Grazalema & Ubrique.

The whole concept of craftmanship is dying. The Beautiful thing about this place it's not just about one street or a couple of houses, is the entire village.
In Ubrique what they've very good at is helping you because they have tons of experience. They've been doing this for centuries. |
"That technique can only go from father to son because it's very specialised. Kind of they have it in their blood", says Mr. Sanchez.
It is these kind of skills honed over generations whcih have drawn many brands. Word of mouth is often how designers have found out about Ubrique.
In Ubrique what they're very good at is helping you because they have tons of experience. They've been doing this for centuries. This kind of slow but precise artisanship is dying out and increasingly hard to find elsewhere. The whole concept of craftsmanship is dying. The beautiful thing about this place is that it's not just one street or a couple of houses. It's an entire village.
